DVForge announced that it will ship its latest iPod accessory early next month. The company’s JamPod guitar amp module will ship on April 8 for $29.99. The JamPod is a compact add-on that just plugs into the top of any dock connector iPod(3G/4G iPods or iPod minis), and lets you plug in your guitar, mix the level with the music from the iPod, and practice away as much as you like, through the iPod’s own earbuds, or any other headphones. JamPod works with any electric guitar, electric bass, or other instrument that sends a guitar-level output signal through a 1/4-inch instrument jack.
