Since a recent consumer survey found that the average iPod owner in the U.S. spends about $150 on accessories–on average half of the value of the device. We thought it would be interesting for the remainder of March to bring you one iPod accessory every day for the rest of the month. One of the teams members suggested even calling it iPod accessory month, needless to say that person was mocked until he collapsed to the floor into the fetal position. So, the first accessory of this series (I’m sure you guessed by now unless you have images turned off on your browser) is the official Star Wars-themed iPod skin that Skittles.com is giving away as part of their “Hunt for Grievous” online game.
This is how TUAW refers to this fine product: “Lamest Star Wars Tie-in Product Ever.” They said it, not me.

Ok so i won one of these, lucky me! but its not bad at all. and its not just a skin its your standard 4th gen 20gb ipod with a small star wars episode III & SKITTLES engraving on the shiny side. it comes with the standard ipod stuff plus the red evo2 skin, a I-skin wheel cap with the O so groovy tribal darth vader logo and a I-skin lens shade which are all shown. plus a i skin accessories bag! around a $300 dollar prize! i figure in 6-7 months i will upgrade it to a 60gb and change the battery at http://www.techrestore.com/ipod/ to give it my personal touch!
