As I was about to post an uber-review on the Jampod, DVForge the manufacturer of the product comes out today saying it has stopped production of its new JamPod due to quality issues. Basically DVForge had created two versions of the Jampod a higher-end version and a cheaper version and decided to put the cheaper version on the market based on consumer feedback. The good news for those interested in the Jampod is DVForge plans to release the higher-end version of the product in about 8 weeks. When the new Jampod hits the market we will post a uber-review. Here are some comments from DVForge CEO Jack Campbell via the iPodlounge.
“We decided on Sunday to simply trash the entire first production run of the JamPod, refund product and shipping costs for any dissatisfied customer, and, to take the earlier (higher performance) design to production,” Campbell told iPodlounge. “We will be re-releasing the JamPod in approximately 8-weeks at a retail price of $49.99. It will be the version that we showed at Macworld Expo, with the impeccable fit and finish, and the strong audio performance that our more demanding customers have requested.”

The New Version is out using actual connectors purchased from Apple Computer iPod Division. These units have been very satisfactory with our customers. However for any reason if the customers are not satisfied we offer a full money back guarantee. Available at Mac-Pro.com for only $39.99
Mac-Pro.com is the New Home for MacMice where we have released more products including the Ball, the Stand, the Portbuddy.
