“The Good: Everything short of waterproof iPod 4G and photo protection in a quality hard plastic case, including screen protection and membrane-covered control access, improved from last year’s model. Optional armband works well, looks good.
The Bad: Is water resistant but not waterproof, belt clip is only okay, price remains on the very high end for a plastic case.”

“The Good: Nice iPod-matching style, very protective of the iPod against water, shock, and other harm.
The Bad: No access to screen or controls (even wired remote) when case is sealed, opening mechanism exposes iPod to potential scratch damage.
Score: B+

“We tested it in a hot tub and found it made an ideal defense against splashing water. Just don’t get your head wet: Having water in your ears really messes up the headphones’ sound quality.”

“The case works, and works perfectly. It gives you a great sense of protection, for it is constructed out of thick plastic, and comes together nicely. I even consider using it as a day-to-day iPod case.”

Tunewear waterwear

“The Good: A simple, inexpensive way to water-guard your iPod mini during typical daily exposure to the elements and possible drop/crush damage, while gaining full access to its screen and controls. Includes decent strap and armband, smart rubberized headphone connector plug.
The Bad: No guarantees of waterproof design mean that “WaterWear” cases can’t be worn in the water without some fear; no belt clip option.
Score:B+ “
