We’re Back. ExtremeTech has come out with one of the most complete and detailed reviews on music download sites I have ever come across. They look at 12 different online music services and giving their stamp of approval to iTunes and Napster. Here is what they had to say:
iTunes Music Store “iTunes boasts the most content, but comes with its restrictions. If you want to listen to music on the go, you’ll have to have an iPod handy.”
score: 9 out 10
Napster “The To Go service, with its unlimited downloads for a monthly fees is unique—and way cool. The UI could stand some simplification.”
score: 9 out 10
All of the services they looked at offer free limited-time trial periods.
