Calling all Dick Tracy’s. If you like your TV on very small screens then the NHJ VTV-201 Wristwatch Color TV is the gadget for you. The wrist-mounted mini-TV has a 1.5-inch, 130,000-pixel color LCD screen. The TV can also be taken out of the watch frame for your viewing pleasure. To add multifuction to this little unit the headphone cable on the unit also functions as the antenna.

Overall the NHJ pocket TV is a bit of fun and a chance to live like a future boy or girl. The reception is never going to be fantastic and the watch function is never going to be anything but basic. There are tons of bits in the box though and along with the international charger pack and battery cradle you are certainly offered the chance to get poor reception in a wide variety of locations.

Overall, if you”re the kind of person that allows themselves, against their better judgement, to bedragged off to depressing camping holidays, or perhaps if you have ever considered attending a Formula One race (and I”m guilty on both counts) this is a handy little device to have around. Bear in mind, though, that the same money would also buy you a no-brand 28” telly in any high street. It depends who you want to be – The Royle Family or Dick Tracy
