Mitsubishi has released two DVD recorders capable of finding the highlights of the night based on analyzing the sound track of the program. The Raku Reco DVR identifies the best moments by checking the applause of spectators, cheering and other background noise.

DVR-HE50W, a 250-gigabyte hard-disk drive price: 90,000 yen ( $810 US). The Raku Reco DVR-HE10W, has a 160-gigabyte drive price: 80,000 yen ($718). Available in Japan.
