For when you need that cold beer, fast because you want to get the party started. The Cooper Cooler to the rescue. It can get that 6 pack of “brown pops” ice cold in six minutes. It has three preset cycles – 1 minute per can, 3.5 per beer bottle, and 6 per wine bottle. You have to exchange the water and ice after a couple of cycles. It works by bathing the beverage in ice water while spinning it up to 300 rpm. Because the beverage is rotated, not shaken a carbonated beverage does not explode when you open it, thanks to the laws of physics. If ice cold is not good enough , you can add a solute (like salt or ethanol) to the recycling water to lower the freezing temperature allowing you to chill your beverage below the freezing temperature of water.
BE WARNED. SALT WILL CORRODE THE UNIT AND VOID THE WARRANTY. Ethanol in the form of ordinary spirits works well, although it can get expensive.
