I just love turntables. I’m lucky enough to own 2 Technics 1200’s, arguably the best turntable ever made. I remember saving up lots of spare change for those 2 turntables. But all that money would not even buy the cartridge for the VPI TNT HRX turntable. Now here’s a turntable that will make a hole in your bank account. This turntable features triple-laminated acrylic and aluminum chassis, a dual-motor drive with a 12-pound flywheel and a Teflon-infused thrust plate that cuts down on the friction. All this could be yours for the low, low price of $10,000. Oh yes, I forgot to mention, the cartridge is $5,000 and…you guessed it,not included.

What’s the point of such an uber-expensive turntable, except to look cool in Nikki Hilton’s apartment?
