Even if I only opened one bottle a week and could only wait for ten-year-old wine, my cellar would need to hold about 500 bottles. Maintaining stable conditions for wine gets easier as the number of bottles grows because there is more thermal mass available. Having your three absolutely favorite bottles of wine sitting on the counter in plain view would be a serious long-term test of self-control. I would fail of course, but this machine shows how advances in modern technology should really be used. The inventory counter is a masterstroke and I like it.
