Chris Glaister, Afshin Mehin and Tomas Rosen have come out with the Chronos Chromos Concrete which allows you to display patterns, numbers and text in the surface of a concrete slab. The special concrete is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. The colors can change from red to white, black to white and grey to white in about 5 seconds.
