James Owen, who we featured here last week has another great concept design that won the award for excellence from the Taiwan international design competition. The Groovemixer is a MP3 player that allows you to mix on the fly then broadcast wirelessly through speakers or a sub-woofer that doubles into 5×4 stage.
From Core77
The GrooveMixer is centralized around group and community databases, taking full advantage of the wireless craze integrated within PDA’s, cell phones, laptops, and the latest mp3 players. The device allows the user to search, select, mix, and even wirelessly broadcast a spontaneous and interactive custom mix of music files to the sharing community. GrooveMixer received an Award of Excellence during the 2005 Taiwan Design competition.
