When you take 2 MIT students with some programming and construction skills, drive, and a couple hundred dollars, you end up with a Multifunction In-Dorm Automation System . It features everything “from web control, voice activation, and a security system, to large continuously running information displays, electric blinds, and one-touch parties.” Here are some videos of their kick-ass dorm room in action. One problem, where are all the people? I know, build it and they will come.
