Cantar Hotpod Floating SpaStumble This

As the temperature starts to plummet in my neck of the woods, the Cantar Hotpod Floating Spa will have to wait until next year. Basically, it turns part of your pool into a hot tub, yet the rest of the pool stays cool. I want one.

If you ever wished you had a hot tub or spa, you’ll thank yourself for getting the The Hotpod takes water right from your pool heater and pumps it through six hydro-engineered jets. Inside the spa it’s warm, bubbly and incredibly relaxing. Meanwhile, the rest of your pool stays cool and refreshing. Hot pod is for both inground or aboveground pools.

* Revolutionary floating spa easily installs in both in-ground and above-ground pool applications
* Six hydro jets produce relaxing hydrotherapy action
* Connects in minutes to your existing pump, filter, and heater
* Integrated control valve allows convenient temperature adjustment by mixing water from the pool with the Hotpod
* Sets up and is ready to use in 15 minutes
* Room for 4 to 6 adults
* Stores in convenient carry bag

    [...] This product just looks silly.  It is a floating hot tub that you put in your pool.  It takes its hot water from the pool heater directly (not so sure how hot that would actually be…) and pumps it through its own jets.  Honestly, if you want this thing you are ghettolicious, embrace it.  Via Uber-Review. Is this a spa? It looks more like a “boat” for joy!

    There are a lot of spa, home spa, etc… Google or yahoo it and you will find alot.

    This is an ingenious invention! I just bought 2 for $300 each on ebay! Take it from a pool owner that has to heat 20,000 gallons of water to 90 degrees plus to have a pool party when you live in Northern Indiana, this thing beats the heck out of heating an entire pool to a comfortable temperature! Too, as most adults love the hot tub temperatures, especially at night, rather than cooler pool temps, this creates an area in your pool that is hot-tub temperature for $300 as compared to buying a hot tub for thousands!! What a waste of money if you already have a pool heater!! This past fall when the temperatures dropped, I was curling up by our hot water jets dreaming of a way to “trap” the hot water around me, and then I found this thing! It is ingenious and will save us hundreds and hundreds on gas bills heating up our entire pool when guests come over!! Also, I have wanted a hot tub my entire life and now I have an 8 person hot tub ( 2 hotpods) for $600!! They will pay for themselves in gas bill savings! Will write back in a couple of months after I use them!!They are not “ghetto” they are smart!! Ghetto is being wasteful of our planet’s resources like gas!!
