If you hate parallel parking, a group of 5 seniors at the University of Toledo are working on the perfect device for you. The Mechanical Engineering Technology Students are working on a parallel parking device that you would attach to the rear underbody of a car. To make parallel parking easier, you just park the nose of the car into a parking spot and use the hydraulics to lift the rear end of the car and slide sideways into the parking spot. Parallel parking during a driving examination will no longer cause you to pass out from hyperventilation. Just hit play to watch the demo.
Thanks Bruce!
