To build a robot, takes a great amount of ingenuity, to make a robot that is powered by wind, is even more extraordinary. One man by the name of Theo Jansen, has the power to build such a device. He refers to his creations as “Kinetic Sculptures” and BMW showcases his talent in their new commercial you are about to view. The commercial is from a new “campaign which serves to highlight BMW’s market leadership in the fields of technology and innovation”. To see more videos of Theo Jansen’s work you can visit EcoGeek

beautiful design…. it gets me excited b/c my mind works in those ways… but i only have paper as an building material, and have only a part time job at papa johns…. im working on the world’s biggest paper airplane right now, not exactly rocket science, but there are a lot of geometries involved to maintain the structure of the craft, and to keep it lightweight. you can see the progress on my youtube…. i should be posting a newer video soon though…. ive come a long way from what is shown on the video. go to youtube and type in sparhu.
