The 3-Way footbridge called “Hacking Ferry” is virtually located at Lancashire on the UK and it was developed by Flint & Neill in cooperation with Wilkinson Eyre Architects. The freaky bridge design along the river will create the possibility for people in the Lancashire area to spend less time when going from one side to the other.
The unusual arrangement arises from the topography of the rivers and approaching footpaths which include the Ribble Way.
The rural location called for a simple but bold design statement and the client, Lancashire County Council, requested a modern landmark structure of contemporary design.
