A great way to avoid getting some sort of repetitive strain injury is to keep your hand, wrist, and arm muscles exercised. To accomplish this, people have sold hand-exerciser devices for a long time. By squeezing a pair of handles attached via a resistant spring, you can keep your hand and arm muscles nicely toned. Try doing six reps of ten squeezes a day… wait, what’s that you say? You can’t count? Never fear! These Digital Grips will do the counting for you. Just press the little button to reset the counter, and then squeeze away, and the digital readout will keep track of how many times you’ve squeezed. Hooray! Finally a hand-exerciser solution for the innumerate. Only, I think, 700 Yen.

Aw… I was hoping the 3 in the photograph was three pounds of pressure, a measure of strength rather than reps. Reps I can count, pounds pressure I can’t estimate. Oh well.
