The Internet Traffic Report is a website in which you can visualize the flow of data around the world, it can be pretty useless but it all depends on your mood and how you want to spend the time on the world wide web - viewing statistics about the net for more than 20 seconds might not be a good idea, but can it be useful? The answer is yes:
Your Internet surfing safari may be smooth today, but perhaps you can’t reach Yahoo or a few web sites in Europe. This web site will tell you if those regions of the Internet are currently slowed down. By checking the Internet Traffic Report, you can determine if your problems are global or local.
Seriously speaking, the useful idea is pretty useless but the best part is yet to come… As you can see on the image there are numbers on some locations and those numbers represent the index which basically means that a higher index number = a faster internet.

Conclusion: The 13 and 14 of January was Saturday and Sunday respectively - a weekend. During that period the traffic was below the average, so the myth that people surf less on the weekends is true.
