In case you want the rest of the world to know how much you adore gaming with the Super Mario Bros, why not get one of these special keychains? I say they are special because according to ThinkGeek the keychains are part of a limited edition that came from Japan. There are 6 different models including the real Super Mario, the Magic Mushroom and the Yellow Star.

The worst part of the deal is that you can’t pick a specific model, how strange is that? Basically you order one keychain (also known as Japanese Capsule Toy) and get a random model.

And why can’t a buyer pick what he wants? The folks at ThinkGeek (popular geek online store) give 2 lame reasons that somehow show that they don’t care much for their customers or maybe I’m just confusing things…

1.Our Robotic Warehouse Monkeys don’t have the ability to discern the difference between various models of capsule toys. They use their mechanical claw hands to reach into a box and pull some items for your order. You get what you get.

2. The packaging on these toys makes it hard from the outside to tell what model they contain. We would have to open the sealed package and hunt for specific models. This is not really feasible.

Oh well, at least they have a creative copywriter.
