I bought an X4 and it only lasted 96 days before the button hinges broke. LapDawg will not support its customers after 30 days. Poor product, no customer support. If your X4 hasn't broken yet...it will. Don't waste your money.

Got one as a holiday gift from Thanko. This is overpriced and overrated. It's difficult to setup and it's a steel metal color that doesn't work with all optical mice. I prefer my Laptop Desk that rests in my lap...although it's not perfect either. Save the money.

I got one for my birthday....it's a bit pricey but not compared to similar styled desks. If you value using your laptop in bed at the most comfortably angles, then it's definitely worth it. Unless you have a carpenter handy, it's not worth the effort to build yourself.

I have one. It's not so bad. I'm currently using it as a riser on my desk. But I like the portability of it. And it does collapse down for easy storage. (about the size of your laptop itself.) It's really handy for the clearance it provides under it while on my desk. You can see other examples of uses for it on the lapdawg.com website. Even though the price is a little steep, I find I use it everyday in various ways. I think its a good investment.
