For the web designers and alikes there is a cool website called Typetester that lets you compare different fonts online which is certainly a good help, it can also get the CSS code for any of the 3 columns you pick.
The working mode is very simple:
- Pick the typeface you want to view/work with, there are basic and special ones
- Type some sample text or leave the “Lorem ipsum” default as it is
- Change the desired font settings such as size, alignment, color, word space, background, tracking, decoration and others
- View the final result on the bottom, there are a couple of versions including italic, bold, uppercase, etc
- Get the CSS code if you plan on using the specific font settings for your online projects
Props to Marko Dugonjić for creating Typetester which is easy to use and very useful.
