Linutop – Smallest Linux Based Computer In The World?Stumble This

Linutop

If you are a Linux fan and want to have a really small basic computer, there is a new thing in town called Linutop. A few reasons why Linutop might be worth your time and attention:

  • only measures 9.3×2.7×15cm, almost the same size as the palm of your hand
  • only weights 280grams
  • it runs Ubunto directly from the included USB drive that contains 1GB of storage capacity and other software
  • can be connected to the internet

Pretty good for a palm-sized PC, don’t you think? Besides personal usage, the creators of Linutop also suggest that it can be used as a way to access internet on libraries, universities, government offices and other places.

Check the hardware specifications after the jump.
