Really? That’s the problem? I thought the problem was that they look dorky regardless of who wears them.

I have one and use it in the house and in my office at my desk. I don’t walk around in public with it because I just don’t see the need. But at home and work, being handsfree is definitely a benefit.
Remember when people talking to themselves on the sidewalk used to just mean they were plain ol’ crazy? I miss those days.

I like that part. Folks seem to be talking to themselves on the street. Then as they walk by you see the headset and realize that they are not crazy at all, they’re just so secure in thier dorkiness that displaying it in public is not a problem for them. It’s almost….admirable. (nah!)

It’s the hi-tech version of the mistaken wave, you know, when a hottie waves at you and you wave back, only to realise she was waving at someone behind you.

I hate it more because people talk so loud/they try to dial the numbers with voice recognition. When they can’t dial like that they start getting mad and yelling. Annoys me and embarasses me if it’s someone I’m with.

I work at a mental health facility, and people wander around the parking lot talking to themselves all the time. Then you see another “nut” coming by and realize it’s a doctor with a Bluetooth.

I had christmas dinner with my girlfriend’s family, and her uncle wore his stupid bluetooth ear growth throughout the entire dinner! Of course, he received and made no phone calls. I think they’re for people that are trying really hard to disguise their redneck past.

When did it become acceptable to wear a bluetooth headset all the time. Even when you are not on the phone? I go to business meetings / conventions and these jackasses are wearing their headsets all goddamn day like its a watch. Its worse then cell phones on belts.

Yeah, last time I had lunch with a friend she spent most of it talking…into the darn headset and not to me. And she invited me to lunch too! Incredibly arrogant and rude – and no longer a good friend.

I can’t even deal when I see idiots with these one. It was honestly the defining moment when I realized how many idiots there are in the world. Do they not realize they look rediculous???
