Besides being a simple travel alarm clock, it also contains a built-in flashlight and a 110-decibel motion-activated intruder alarm. To get the alarm to work you just place it on the door or anything else you don’t want to move. If moved, the alarm sets off the piercing sound. I know it’s not the world’s best security system but at a cost of $40, what did you expect?

This product would be far more useful if it also incorporated a smoke detector - unfortunately, many hotels are not equipped with smoke detectors; carrying one with you when you travel could save your life.
