I admire the courage that some companies have to launch “iPod only” products, at first that seems to be the case with the Geneva Sound System XL because it contains an iPod Universal Dock, but don’t be mistaken by that small detail, the speaker can actually work with other MP3 players.
Besides being a huge speaker for digital audio players it also features FM radio and a slot-loading CD. As for the form factor, I don’t know if many people will like it… Just thinking about its weight (38kg) and height (61cm) it drives me crazy.
With its built-in stereo tweeters, woofers and 8 inch subwoofers and powered by a 600-watt high fidelity digital amplifier, it will deliver a sound performance normally expected from a very large and expensive stereo system.

I just purchased a Geneva XL from Hipster Home and the sound quality is outstanding. I had listened to one at an electronics show and I was smitten right away. And then when I was shopping in Hipster Home I listened to a Geneva system again and I knew I had to have one. It took me a few days to convince myself, but I don’t know why I waited. This is the clearest sounding system with crystal clear mid levels and a bottomless bass. Test drive one and you’ll see for yourself.
