i wonder if cameron or pace will be able to market a 3d camera to sell for a consumer someday.until then all we can do is go pay to watch what they filmed.it looks like this is finally the best thing so far,,until autostereoscopic movies can be done.

Ugh. The red/blue (anaglyph) system was never the dominant 3-D system. Even most of the old paper glasses contained polarized lenses, the same type used today. The continual misrepresentation of 3-D as always having used the red/blue glasses is just annoying.
The auto-convergence adjustment is interesting info.
One thing that this doesn’t address is the need for a silver screen when projecting polarized 3-D. Most theaters don’t have them or replaced them years ago. The “coming wave” of 3-D isn’t going to amount to anything if there’s no place to show it.
