Sleep Sheep - The One That Sings And Helps Babies SleepStumble This

Sleep Sheep

Keeping the baby’s mind safe during the the “sleeping time” might include one or other strange technique, putting the baby to sleep on the same bed as the parents is not a good idea, and that is why the Sleep Sheep is such a useful plush.

The good looking sheep has beige as the color and the main feature that makes it useful is being able to play 4 sounds that incentive a good night of sleep:

  • mother’s heartbeat
  • spring showers
  • ocean surf
  • whale songs

In order to place the device near the baby there is an attachable Velcro hanging loop that can be attached to the crib, there are also two options that you can control, more specifically the volume and selection of one of the four sounds you want to be played.

It works with 4AA batteries that have a feature (time-out) to save its power (and your money) after a certain amount of time. I believe the Sleep Sheep might save lots of non-sleeping hours to the normal parents that need to wake up during night because the baby is crying, don’t you think so?

Price: $30

We have found our Sleep Sheep to be invaluable. Every nap-time and evening our son goes to sleep listening to button #3 (ocean surf). It plays for a good duration before shutting off. When he was an infant, we used a CD of hair dryer and washing machine (his favorite) noise. We hadn’t known the power of white noise to lull a baby to sleep! The only criticism I have is that the volume knob falls off easily (which is why it sits on the dresser now). Cheers,
