The Parasite Charger is a concept device by Broberg & Ridderstralle Design and Architecture. The look is inspired by a parasite, and the illusion is made complete with a built in motor that pulsates visibly through the silicone shell.
The device is intended as a reminder of the unnecessary energy wastage that occurs when we leave our chargers in the outlet. The pulsating parasite gives the impression that the charger is “feeding” on our electric bill.
Wow - a device that powers up my gear and makes me feel bad about myself? Awesome!
