The original named gadget – Behind-the-Head Tune Phones – can be basically presented as headphones with a built-in mp3 player. Since there isn’t an extra/separate element (the mp3 player itself) it can be pretty useful for people that do exercise like jogging, bicycle rides, or going to the gym – nothing else to hold besides the headphones.
As for the technical specs of the Tune Phones:
- it has 8 hours of battery life per charge – with the recharger being the USB port when plugged into the computer
- like it happens in many mp3 players, the transfer of data can be easily done via drag-and-drop
- in the storage capacity section it only features 512MB
Just 4 controls on the outer edge of the right earpiece keep things simple: play/pause/stop button, shuffle button, and volume up/down (skip/review) buttons.
Price: $75
