Most of the times a decorative item like a globe that displays text and images by using a LED light is already good enough, but the folks that created the iBall GPRS have taken it one step further. They added a SMS feature so you can send text messages to a SIM card located inside the globe, afterwards the message will be exhibited thanks to the 85 super bright RGB LEDs.

Alternatively, there is a built-in memory of 64MB so you can keep the favorite text/images always present. The globe has a diameter of 28cm, so it isn’t as small as it looks like on the image, which means that the final aspect will definitely be good.
