There is no denying that hollowware pieces can get a little pricey. Fortunately silversmith Kim Buck has come up with an Inflatable Hollowware design that is not only inexpensive, but also extremely unique.

Essentially, each “bowl” is a puffed up piece of super-shiny aluminum foil – kind of like those balloons you used to get as a kid. The product site concedes that this hollowware may not be the most durable on the planet, but I think you might be surprised. I have a foil balloon from the mid-80’s and its still inflated.
