Cars and security are 2 subjects that are always connected, with that important detail in mind the Volvo S80 comes with a new remote controlled entitled Volvo Personal Car Communicator.
The system can check if:
- the car is locked or unlocked
- the alarm is on or off
- a person is inside the car (or not)
Additionally, the VPCC can also turn the lights on or off - all done by simply pressing a button on the remote control.

No, this is a Volvo product, designed specifically by Volvo, for Volvo because they take safety and security very seriously. It will not work on other cars.
