Joking apart these things are lethal - the amount of times I've almost been run over by one thats appeared from nowhere belies belief. The drivers have invariably apologized as if it were accidental, but I'm not so sure. (If I didn't know better I'd seriously wonder if my wife didn't have a 4mph hit out on me).
