Free Flash games are often fun, here is one that I have been playing to help me get through my days and occasionally, evenings. Island Mini Golf is an 18-hole miniature golf course for your desktop. It is relatively easy to master, a couple of rounds and you will unlock your inner Tiger Woods as you start to hit hole in one after hole in one.

The first nine holes are relatively easy. There are a few that might test you, but it is pretty much all fun and games except for holes eight and thirteen. On the eighth you find your hole on top of a little hill. You want to hit it just right or you go over the edge. With a missing boundary piece behind number thirteen, you have a challenge on your hands. You are certain to end up out of the course if you hit it with too much mustard. This writer’s advice is to avoid any long game on number thirteen. Baby steps will save you stroke penalties and see you finishing with a reasonable score. Sand traps require a little bit of power to get out of and you will  want plenty of juice behind your up hill shots.

 There are not many more exciting ways of getting fired. In case you want to make it look like you are working, I have heard of people capturing the flash and concealing it in a very worksafe Excel spreadsheet.
