Gourd Shaped iPod Speakers

Gourd Shaped iPod Speakers

While the mix of nature and speakers isn’t something new (check the Tree Stump) there are still lots of options related to which materials to use when creating speakers. And since originality counts a great deal, the new kind of sound systems uses gourda dried shell of a fruit in the Cucurbitaceae family of plants – to create a unique gadget.

One good thing about the Gourd Shaped Speakers is that the final result is never the same, there are changes on the shape and color of each plant.

Each speaker has a 2.3-inch diameter full-range driver, sealed tightly into the body of the hollowed out fruit.

Price: $146
