I sense something. A presence I’ve not felt since… 1983. We were reintroduced in 2005, but he was a pale image of his former self. Perhaps, he should not have come back, but alas, he did, first as an annoying young boy and then as Hayden Christensen who was only slightly less annoying. Now, let us dispense with the pleasantries and get back to the matter at hand; the 8″ inch metal figure of Darth Vader that you see in the image above.
8 inches is a respectable size for an action figure, and especially good for an action figure made of die-cast metal. It comes straight from Tomy Japan and you can get it in the states in September 2007. This is no children’s toy, it is a 1/10 scale model with over twenty points of articulation. It is actually a model that you can construct and deconstruct. Numerous parts fit on to the die cast body. I counted a total of sixty-four parts, excluding the body. I might have missed one part in there or counted one twice, but that is only because there were quite a lot of them. It is a sophisticated addition to any Star Wars collection.
Price: $100 (available in limited numbers)
