I use this tool almost everyday and have many of my clients using it to relieve debilitating pain that otherwise they could not reach.

It works much better then the Thera Cane or Shepard’s Crook because of the extra knobs and protrusions.

If you can’t or don’t understand the usefulness of the Back Buddy it’s because you haven’t taken the time to use it. This is one massage tool that I always refer my clients to buy and use.

I agree with both of you. I am not a professional therapist or anything, but this product has been very helpful for me. It is important to give yourself time each day or each week to relax and relieve pain – and this is the perfect device for that. It really does reach a lot of different places and it does a great job. I don’t think it makes you look like an idiot either – rather someone that cares for his/her own body, and will put aside the opinions of others to do what is right for them.

I agree completely with David: as a massage therapist, I use a similiar device for myself to keep improving between receiving massages, as well as strongly recommend it to some of my patients so they can also maintain and improve their progress. I think in your article you’ve missed there’s a real use for this device, and it’s used and recommended by professional health care workers.

What in God’s name does looking weird have ANYTHING to do with anything when one has aches, pains or other issues that interfere with leading a normal life? And what is the requirement that you use it in a place where others are watching you anyway? Do you not have abedroom or bathroom of your own you can go to for a few minutes?

Being a muscle therapist myself (the doctors who refer to me call me their Secret Weapon when it comes to muscle pain), the relief I have personally gotten by using this device is tremendous. And after several decades of significant anmounts of pain, this is the ONLY thing that does not cost 75 dollars or more per hour that has helped me. My Clients who use it would definitely wonder why your comments are so irrelevant and counterproductive to the needs of those people who need these kinds of tools.

And yes, if they can pay 30 bucks for something one time rather than pay me (far more than) 30 bucks per hour on an on-going basis, I recommend they do it.

I cannot perceive ANYTHING about your commentary that in any way, shape or form indicates anything that qualifies you to provide useful or relevant feedback to anything of this nature. In fact, for those who need and can benefit from this product — and there are many — if you were a doctor I would say you would be guilty of malpractice.
