The Ion Audio Tape2PC is a USB gadget for anyone who still has cassettes. It will allow you to rip your cassette collection into MP3 and even put it straight into iTunes. Sure, your microphone port can function as an analog in, but many people do not own a cassette player anymore. If your cassette collection is in reasonable condition and you want to preserve it digitally, then this could just be the thing for you. The price is a little on the expensive side, but Costco will carry it, so it will probably go down in price when the novelty wears off.
