They’re popping up everywhere. Ugly, bestial cell towers needed to maintain your cell phone signal are polluting our landscape. Ericsson can see people are unhappy with these metal beasts, so they have started creating designs for cell phone towers that aren’t nearly as ugly as some the ones we are accustomed to seeing.

In particular, the tower they designed for Yankee Stadium (even though I’m a Mets fan) is really a cool idea. The great thing about these Tower Tubes, is that they can be customized to fit their surroundings. More after the jump.
