Artist Tetsuya Nakamura’s line of luxury fixtures look as though they are breaking land speed records whilst sitting calmly in your bathroom - and for the price you would think that he was hiding an engine in there somewhere.
The set includes a tub, a pair of sinks, a step designed for insertion into a stairwell, and a decorative column. Nakamura also encourages the consumer to customize his work with their own paint job, body modifications, and part upgrades. So, in that sense he is really taking the whole “fast car” theme to the next level.
As you might have guessed, these fixtures are more about aesthetics than they are about functionality. Nakamura has “an enter at your own risk” policy that absolves him of any responsibility should you get injured using his creations. So if you were planning on a romantic bath for two - I would suggest you make sure that all of your affairs are in order.
More images are available after the break.

Price: 3 million yen ($26,000) for the tub / 1.5 million yen ($13,000) for remaining fixtures

The tub looks like a pipe I bought at a head shop in New Hope, PA.
