But when it's 12:30, I don't say it's "Half twelve." I say it's "Half past twelve." See the difference? A whole extra word. And when it's 12:01, I don't say it's "Just gone twelve" ... I say it's "just after twelve," maybe, but not "just gone twelve." I also don't say anything remotely close to "just gone half twelve."
