Mobile Fast Food: But Mommy, I Want A Burger NowStumble This

mcdon.jpg

McDonald’s and SK Telecom Korea have partnered up to make fast food even faster. Using mobile technology and infrared sensors, you don’t even have to wait in line any more. Place your order on your phone, and a text message will be sent to you notifying when your order is done.

This new system marks the first time in history that RFID tags were widely used as a self-ordering system. To use the service, customers will have to download a simple application to their mobile device using the SK Telecom Internet service. Each table will have a RFID chip menu which can be easily updated for further use.
