Since it is a "realistic" game, you can definitely use it for training purposes. There is a good place you can practice that I know of: http://www.GetGosu.com They have online CounterStrike tournaments. Although, I'm not sure if they are set up in China as of now. I guess they should think about setting up in China if police are giving thumbs up :) I play CounterStrike all the time.
