While this Wind Up Lamp concept from designer Yuko Taguchi may seem like a good idea, my feeling is that it could end up adding an unnecessary stress factor to your everyday activities. When the key winds down, the light will go off – so Grandma will end up trying to knit for speed. And that my friends is a disaster waiting to happen.
