Clap On, Clap Off! I’ve been seeing that commercial for years yet have only ever seen one old woman who ever actually owned a clapper. The Airswitch Lamp works off the same premise, where you don’t actually have to touch the lamp to turn it on or off.

All it takes is a horizontal swipe over the top of the lamp to turn it off. It also has a dimming feature, where if you move your hand up vertically it brightens, while a downward motion dims the light.
