iBrick owners the cell phone gods are smiling on you. iPhoneSimFree has just announced SimFree v1.6 which will allow bricked owners to fully repair and restore their phones. Furthermore, it will allow new iPhone buyers that have the iPhone 1.1.1 software to unlock their phones. Good news for everyone. I wonder how the three people in the process of launching frivolous lawsuits are feeling right now.

Take note people, this is going to be a cat and mouse game. Apple will probably brick everyone again and it will go back and forth until they get tired of it and finally call it a day. If you are going to unlock your phone, keep a spare handy, get used to periodic brickings and don’t worry so much.
