Mobile Robots has reworked their commercial PatrolBot design to provide consumers with three enticing forms of robo-servitude. First up we have Jeeves the butler. He is more than happy to serve guests drinks and tiny wieners at your next house party. Then there is Agent 007. He will keep a watchful eye over your home by wandering aimlessly around the house taking photos and warning you when a door has been left open. Finally (and most importantly) there is BrewskiBot. As you might have guessed, BrewskiBot will bring you a cold one when your too lazy to get off your ass and do it yourself.
Each bot uses the same basic PatrolBot design —12 solar sensors, 10 bumper pads, an electric motor and wireless control. They can even navigate your home autonomously once you program the floor plan into their database (by hand mind you.) Unfortunately, the functionality associated with these robots hardly justifies their outrageous price tag. So it looks like I will have to continue to rely on a fridge to throw me my beer. How tragic. A video is available after the break.
Price: $31,000-$35,000

[...] The only thing that”ll stop your union with these wonder gadgets is the real big price tag that they bear…else they can be anyway a better pick than that dated refrigerator and even boring butler of yours.Via: Uberreview [...]
