After just enough down time to make folks wonder if they were ever going to come back, Demonoid has proven that you cannot keep a good torrent site down. The reason for the outage was a legal threat from a CRIA lawyer. They seem to have fully propagated and are now going strong again, but with one exception; Canadian traffic is now blocked.
With the long winter on the way, Canadians are going to have to find another source for their torrent action. The news post on their site reads September 30, so it should be well and truly up wherever you live now.

Demonoid can get $$$$ed for blocking canada, hope the CRIA crush’s there tracker!
Now, now John, please watch the language. I don’t think that you need to take it personally that Demonoid are blocking Canadians. Why not take a look at any of a number of sites that welcome Canadians? There are plenty to choose from. C.S. Magor
