eBay has released a AIR based Beta desktop application that will allow you to get your eBay on without so much as opening Firefox. The interface is very slick and the program has a lot going for it. eBay buyers and sellers are able to create watch lists, view live countdowns and will know exactly when a bid is made. It puts everything in one more organized place. The bar graph display for bids is nice, so too is the tabbed information that features everything from seller reputation to shipping costs.

My only qualm with the new free desktop application is that it has no right click functionality. At this point, the only way to save a photo is to take a screenshot. A means to download pictures would be nice. Other than that there are no complaints, it is a great looking program and you can’t do better than free.
